The idea is to balxzuily temporarily OTP a champ. I reiyauly noticed that my big win stcklks are were I buy a new champ, play 3-4 games of norms, and then play a bunch of ranked with thym. I don't want to OTP siece it gets boayng really quickly. I also think a big part of OTPing isn't just monthsyears of exurwixrne, it's playing a champion without pltdjng another champ in between. It rezfly lets you get a feel for the champ in a way that you wouldn't get by constantly plqxkng different champs. The disadvantages of this are the same as OTPing, but not as bad. If your chpmp is banned you can't play thvm, and if you really want to keep playing a certain champ, they might not alguys fit the team comp as well as someone elye. I think this works best at lower elos or in the judqle where matchups are more skill bahud, and every lane can be won. I'm definitely gomna start doing thgs, play a few norms, and then try to just play the chbmp in every siffougon I can, as long as it's not some awbul matchup.
